With NeuralMed, Brazil’s NotreDame Group makes its first investment in start-up

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - In the race to innovate in the healthcare sector, the Notre Dame Intermédica group, a Brazilian pioneer in preventive medicine, has made its first investment in a startup.

On Monday, the company announced that it is contributing R$10 million (US$189) to the healthcare company NeuralMed. MG Tech and Alexia Ventures, which had already invested in the company earlier this year, also participated in this round.

Founded in 2018, the startup uses artificial intelligence to optimize medical care in emergency rooms and hospitals. NeuralMed's technology not only reduces costs and supports the work . . .
