Brazil is taking off, on the right track and admired by other countries
In a speech in Copacabana in Rio’s south zone on September 7, at the event to celebrate the bicentennial of Brazil’s Independence, President Jair Bolsonaro defended his government, ministries, and actions during the Covid-19 pandemic.
“A government that dared to choose a group of ministers never seen in the history of Brazil,” he said.
“Competent, honorable, patriotic people who accepted the mission to help me put Brazil on the right path. Who could imagine a man like Tarcísio de Freitas in infrastructure?, like Damares with women? – names that helped me during the two years of the pandemic.
“We regret all the deaths, but, in the economy, our government set an example,” he said.
“We are a reference for the whole world. We assisted 68 million people with emergency aid. Our people were condemned to starve. We have assisted the most humble, the neediest,” said the president.

“Yes, we have inflation this year, but much less than in Europe and the USA. That is work, dedication, and honesty above all. Brazil is taking off. Brazil is on the right course,” he added.
“We have an unshakable foreign policy. We went to negotiate with Russia for fertilizers. We guarantee food security for a billion people around the world.”
