Bitcoin Holds Strong as ETF Inflows and Macro Optimism Drive Crypto Rally
The latest data from official trading platforms and ETF providers show Bitcoin and major cryptocurrencies advanced firmly over the last 24 hours, buoyed by strong institutional inflows and a shift in global risk sentiment.
Bitcoin traded near $106,300 early June 25, after climbing as much as 3.5% from the previous day’s lows. Ethereum outpaced Bitcoin, gaining over 7.5% to trade above $2,420. XRP led the large caps with an 8.1% surge, reaching $2.20.
Nearly every top 100 digital asset posted gains, with SEI standing out after a 36% rally. The market’s move followed a wave of capital into US-listed crypto ETFs.
On June 23, Bitcoin ETFs attracted $350.6 million, while Ethereum ETFs saw $100.7 million in new investments. BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF alone reported a record $1.23 billion inflow for June, underscoring a clear trend: institutional investors increasingly view crypto as a legitimate asset class.
Over the past week, total Bitcoin ETF inflows surpassed $1.1 billion, marking the tenth consecutive day of net positive flows. This persistent demand has anchored Bitcoin above the $100,000 level, despite recent volatility.

Technical analysis of the 4-hour and daily Bitcoin charts confirms the bullish momentum. The 4-hour chart shows price consolidating above key moving averages, with the 50-period EMA at $105,976 and the 200-period EMA at $104,897 providing clear support.
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) sits at 64.35, indicating strong momentum but not yet overbought. The MACD histogram remains positive, with the signal line trending upward, confirming buyers’ control.
Bollinger Bands have widened, reflecting increased volatility, but price remains near the upper band, suggesting persistent buying pressure. On the daily chart, Bitcoin continues to hold above the 50-day EMA ($105,670) and the Ichimoku cloud base ($104,284), both critical support zones.
The RSI at 53.74 shows room for further upside, while the MACD is narrowing, hinting at a possible bullish crossover. Resistance remains at $107,970 and $110,101, with a decisive break above these levels likely to trigger further gains.
Macroeconomic conditions have also played a role. The recent de-escalation of tensions in the Middle East reduced global risk aversion, prompting renewed interest in risk assets.
Falling oil prices and expectations of US Federal Reserve rate cuts have further supported the market. Institutional investors cited growing demand and clearer regulatory frameworks as reasons for their increased allocations to crypto.
In summary, the past 24 hours saw a robust rally across the crypto market, led by Bitcoin and Ethereum, supported by strong ETF inflows and favorable macroeconomic developments.
Technical indicators confirm the bullish trend, with key support levels holding and momentum building. The market’s resilience and continued institutional interest suggest a structural shift in crypto’s role in global finance.
