Deutsche Telekom Europe’s most valuable brand

In the telecom arena, Deutsche Telekom has grown by 17% to USD 73.3 billion.

It now stands as the world’s top telecom brand, outpacing Verizon and leading as Europe’s most valuable brand.

Deutsche Telekom’s success stems from its strong network, effective European fiber rollout, and 5G leadership in the U.S. This has improved connectivity and customer satisfaction.

However, Tesla has experienced a downturn, falling to 18th place from the top 10. Its brand value decreased by 12% to USD 58.3 billion.

Tesla’s significant involvement in the Chinese EV market and its association with Elon Musk have impacted its reputation.

Still, Tesla’s brand value remains much higher than BYD, the largest EV maker, demonstrating the lasting power of strong branding.

The 2024 Global 500 rankings by Brand Finance, showcasing these insights, will be launched at Davos on January 17, 2024, in collaboration with Infosys.
