This will be the first of two live shows the band will present this weekend at the venue.
Lead by Marcelo Falcão, O Rappa has released six studio and several live albums. They are well known for their socially consious lyrics and sounds that fuse the genres of reggae, rock, and samba.

Today and tomorrow the Antiga fábrica da Bhering will host the Fábrica Aberta (Open Factory). The event will run from 2PM to 9PM on both days. The event will include artist installations, live performances, video installations, a screening of Emílio Domingos’s documentary “A Batalha do Passinho,” and vendors, artists and artisans including Café da Fábrica, Dudu Garcia, Adoro Adorno, Bel Magalháes, Fernando Gonçalves, and Fécula, opening their doors to welcome the public in for a behind the scenes view of their work.

Tonight Brazilian axé singer, Ivete Sangalo continues her tour in celebration of twenty years of her wildy succesful career with a live performance in Rio. This will be the first of her back-to-back live shows at Vivo Rio this weekend.

Baile Black Bom (Lapa)
Baile Black Bom returns to Pedra do Sal tonight. The free event is known for celebrating Afro-Brazilian culture. During each edition the band Consciência Tranquila (Quiet Conscience) reinterprets classic funk and soul from the 70s, R&B, and hip-hop. During the event DJ Leandro Marcelino Flash will also spin (on vinyl) the best of classic soul, 70s funk, r&b and Charme.

The B.L.E.S.S. party will take over the Arco do Teles in Centro tonight with two stages of live music. Bives Slectah, Vicente Trilha will perform on the first stage, while DJs from Radio Rua will spin the best of reggae, ska and dancehall and Partyzan Sound, MC Tombstone and RASloty will perform on the second stage.

Julio Estrela will start the night off at Carioca da Gema at 9:30 PM and singer Ana Costa will follow at 11:30PM.
