Crypto’s Reset: Why Bitcoin Can’t Clear 110,000

Bitcoin hovered near 107,700 this morning, down about 3% in 24 hours. Ether fell harder to roughly 3,864 (-5%), with Solana 183.6 (-5%), BNB 1,069 (-6%) and XRP 2.416 (-2%).

A few smaller tokens bucked the trend: AVNT +28.7%, COAI +19.9%, AIA +13.0%, BIO +12.0% and FLOKI +7.7%. Laggards included KGEN −28.5% and RECALL −21.8%, with TAO, B2, SUI and HYPE down 6–11%.

The story behind the tape is a reset after last week’s wash-out in leverage and a sharp rotation in exchange-traded product flows. Bitcoin funds bled heavily over the week, while ether, solana and xrp products attracted money.

In plain English: big, regulated vehicles—now a major highway for mainstream capital—pulled cash from BTC and tried other lanes. That tug-of-war, more than any single headline, explains why majors are heavy while a handful of smaller names pop on thinner liquidity.

Bitcoin Stalls Below Key Resistance as Momentum Fades

Technically, bitcoin is boxed in. On the daily chart, price has slipped from an early-October swing high around 114,900 and now sits beneath a cluster of short-term moving averages near 109,800–112,000.

Momentum is soft (RSI mid-40s; MACD negative) and candles are hugging the lower half of the volatility bands, leaving layered resistance around 114,000–115,000.

On the four-hour view, the market is chopping between roughly 104,000 and 110,000; a firm 4H close above ~110,000 would be the first sign of a push back into that moving-average “ceiling.” First support is near 104,000, then 102,000–103,000.
