During a press conference held with members of the National Congress last Tuesday (9), over 60 lawyers who work in defense of those arrested due to the acts of January 8 denounced a series of irregularities and disrespect for the prerogatives of the defense.
According to lawyer Cláudio Civano, about 100 lawyers were given a deadline to present their defense in oral arguments in 15-minute videos.
The Justices were supposed to watch all the arguments, but - according to him - this did not happen.
