Paraguay in OAS Anti-Drug Commission vice presidency

Paraguay was elected vice-president of the Organization of American States' (OAS) Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission (CICAD), during its 70th session, held online.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL -  According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it is the first time that Paraguay takes on this high position in the Commission, thereby reiterating its commitment to the international community to address the global drug issue.

Costa Rica will be in charge of the presidency.

National Anti-Drug Secretariat (SENAD) Minister Zully Rolón headed the national delegation on behalf of the country and expressed her gratitude for the trust placed in Paraguay by the member states.
