Fewer Argentines and Brazilians to visit Uruguay this season, compared to pre-pandemic?

A report projected that "during the 2021-2022 season, the number of Argentine tourists visiting Uruguay would be 26% lower; the decrease in the number of Brazilian visitors would be somewhat less."

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The Center for Economic Research (CINVE) stated that "behavior of the tourism services sector in Uruguay has been significantly affected by the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, with the subsequent declaration of the state of health emergency decreed by the government in mid-March 2020."
