Brazil to receive 20 million Pfizer child vaccine doses by March

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Pfizer said it will deliver to Brazil 20 million doses of its vaccine developed against Covid-19 for children by March. However, the quantity is not enough to begin immunization with the second dose.

EXPECTED PFIZER VACCINE DELIVERY

January: 4.310 million doses
February: 7.270 million doses
March: 8.420 million doses

Currently, Brazil has 20.5 million children aged between 5 and 11. The largest group is made up of 7-year-olds, reaching 3 million people.
