RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The President of Bolivia, Luis Arce, yesterday announced an international call for bids on Direct Lithium Extraction and stressed that lithium is a priority for the economy and the State.
At the event, organized by state-owned company Yacimientos del Litio Bolivianos, the president announced that an industrialization strategy has been designed for the country's bicentenary in 2025, which includes the execution of currently stalled projects.
Arce stressed that a strategic component has been added, consisting of direct lithium extraction technology that will enable innovation and accelerate inclusion of Bolivian industry at a global level . . .
