Rio’s Police Are Certain of Bolsonaro’s Involvement in Marielle’s Death, says GGN Website

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Rio’s police are certain of Jair Bolsonaro’s involvement in Marielle’s death, says Luis Nassif, editor of the GGN website.

“There’s still no clarity as to why. The hypothesis of compromising federal intervention is one of the possibilities of investigation. But speculation is being made about others,” reports the journalist.

Journalist Luis Nassif, one of Brazil’s most respected journalists, says the Rio de Janeiro police are already certain of the Bolsonaro clan’s involvement in the brutal murder of former councilwoman Marielle Franco. “In the investigations into Marielle’s death, the Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro has established conviction about Jair Bolsonaro’s deep involvement in the episode,” he posted on the GGN.

“There is still no clarity about the reasons. The hypothesis raised by the GGN – of compromising federal intervention – is one of the possibilities of investigation. But there are speculations about others,” wrote Nassif.
