Despite record-high construction activity, construction inflation in Brazil falls to 1.16% in July

Although Brazilian construction activity and average employment reached their highest levels since 2012 in the first four months of 2022, inflation in this sector is declining.

The National Index of Construction Cost-M (INCC-M), calculated by the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV), stood at 1.16% in July. The rate is lower than June this year (2.81%) and July last year (1.24%).
