RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Argentina's economic activity advanced by 9.8% year-on-year in December, thus accumulating in 2021 an increase of 10.3%, the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (Indec) reported yesterday, Wednesday.
The figure for the last month of last year was somewhat higher than expected by analysts who were forecasting a rise of 8.5%.
The Monthly Economic Activity Estimator (EMAE) of the trans-Andean country registered an improvement of 0.9% in the seasonally adjusted measurement with respect to November, the state agency pointed out.
