RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Do economic hitmen exist? Hollywood actor @amrwaked investigates whether powerful nations and wealthy companies are strong-arming poor countries of their resources and political power.

The prescriptions that the IMF and the likes were and are handing out to indebted and poor countries are often very destructive.

Many say that developing countries that are in heavy debt may go through coups and assassinations as a result of not wanting to play by these rules of those organizations that force abusive contracts on nations and countries.

And they say that these institutions and companies that lend countries have thousands of employees and some jobs there are to manufacture and manage such crises.
