Dani Alves reaches “agreement” with FC Barcelona

By · October 23, 2022 · 2 min read

The 39-year-old Dani Alves, who plays for the Pumas in Mexico, is still dreaming of the World Cup, which will be held next month in Qatar.

The right-back, aiming for a place in Tite’s squad, has signed with FC Barcelona until the end of this year.

Dani Alves is back at Barcelona but will not play in coach Xavi’s first team.

As reported by the press abroad, Daniel Alves will train with the B team of FC Barcelona.

Pumas, the team that owns the rights to the athlete, failed to qualify for the finals of the Mexican League and is, therefore, without a calendar until the end of the season.

So Dani Alves will use Barcelona to keep himself in shape with an eye on the World Cup.

Daniel Alves is one of the names Tite is targeting to fill Brazil’s left-back spot at the World Cup.

The renowned player is in contention with Danilo, who holds the position today, and Militão, who has been deployed as a right-back by coach Tite in recent games.

Dani Alves was left out of the Brazilian coach’s last call-up.

Daniel Alves’ contract with the Pumas runs until July 2023.
