Fuel price in Uruguay rises 36% in two years

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The Ministry of Industry of Uruguay has informed this Monday about a new fuel increase of two percent, which would represent a rise in the price of hydrocarbons of more than 36 percent in almost two years of the Government of Luis Lacalle Pou.

In the communiqué, the Ministry of Industry of the Latin American nation detailed that this price increase is a direct consequence of the crisis between Russia and Ukraine.
