RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The informal employment rate during the January-March 2022 quarter stood at 27.3%, up 0.6 percentage points compared to the same period of 2021, according to information from Chile's National Statistics Institute (INE).
Informally employed persons totaled 2,398,884, representing an increase of 10.3% in the same period, i.e., there were 224,353 more people in this situation than in January-March 2021.
