Chile announces its candidacy to join the UN Human Rights Council

Chile announced its candidacy to be part of the Human Rights Council of the United Nations (UN) from 2023 until 2025.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - "For the Government of President Boric, the candidacy of Chile to the Human Rights Council is fundamental; it is a sign of the commitment we have both internationally and domestically with the human rights agenda in its broad spectrum," said Foreign Minister Antonia Urrejola.
