Brazil’s automotive production rises 15.1% year-on-year in October

Vehicle production in Brazil, Latin America's leading economy, increased 15.1 percent in October compared to the same month last year, the National Association of Automobile Manufacturers (Anfavea) reported today, Tuesday.

Brazilian factories produced 206,044 units in October, compared to 178,965 in the same month of 2021, Anfavea disclosed to the press in São Paulo.

Vehicle production fell by 0.8 percent compared to September, while in the accumulated period between January and October, it advanced by 7.1 percent.

Exports in October reported a jump of 43.5 percent, with 42,765 units shipped abroad . . .
