Unvaccinated children denied entry in Brazil; Paraguay requests exemption

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Since February 14, Brazil requires that children over five years of age entering the country have two doses of covid vaccine. Many of them have already been denied entry.

So far, only 170,000 children have been vaccinated out of the 270,000 registered and out of a target population of 850,000. They were immunized against Covid-19 with the Chinese vaccine Coronavac.
