Thursday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – The parties are back up and running in the city tonight.
Among the many events tonight, you can find the best of pop, indie, funk, and EDM at Fosfobox in Copacabana as the venue hosts the Dog Days are Over party.
DJs Tomás Tróia, Ayman, Felipe Rosa and D-Groov will spin in the subsolo (basement), while Vinicius Correa and Gui Guieros will spin above at the fosfobar.

Time to celebrate Christmas night at Casa da Matriz’s weekly Veneno event. Filled with good music and beautiful people, the parties have helped weekends start early in Rio for over ten years. Tonight is no exception as DJs Tulio and DJ Melvin will jump start the party by spinning pop and rock anthems. Additionally, the Brainwashed party will take over the second floor during the night. Promotions will include two for one caipirinhas, caipivodkas, Cuba Libres, and Hi-Fis until 1AM.
