Tonight’s edition of the party will feature an open bar until 4AM and DJs Rodrigo Mattos and Raphael de Luca spinning the best of house, hip hop, and funk.
The open bar will include beer, vodka, Hi-Fi, Blue Hawaii, Malibu Pine Apple, Sex On The Beach, Cuba Libre, Lagoa Azul, water and sodas. There will also be Red Bull on the open bar until midnight and sparkling wine for women. Additionally, Temakeria will provide Japanese cuisine.

Quiz Night Rio Xmas Special @ Lapa Irish Pub (Lapa)
Tonight Lapa Irish Pub will host a special Xmas edition of Quiz Night Rio.The night will feature four to ten rounds of holiday-themed questions about Brazilian and International general knowledge. Teams of two to six players will compete for a prize. Entrance is half price, $R5, tonight and at all Quiz Night Rio events until the end of the month. Following Quiz Night Rio, Erik Mostar will perform the best of rock, country and folk live.

The drumming group, Batucadas Brasileiras, will perform live at Circo Voador tonight in support of the Escola de Percussão Batucadas Brasileiras initiative.

Tonight at Lapa’s Leviano bar it’s time to dance as the group Mano a Mano starts things off at 8PM with salsa and merengue on the first floor, while on the second floor the weekly Forró Leviano party will present Marcelo Mimoso performing live with special guests. Additionally, DJ Angolano will spin salsa and DJ Léo Araripe will spin forró during the night.

Allende, winner of the Novos Bambas 2014 competition, will start things off tonight at 8:30PM and Toninho Geraes will follow at 10:30PM.. Geraes has composed for artists including Martinho da Vila and Zeca Pagodinho and during his show tonight, he will sing their hits, as well as his own compositions. Additionally, he will reinterpret the works of Moacyr Luz, Paulinho da Viola, and Chico Buarque, among others.
