By · January 27, 2022 · 1 min read

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – From Thursday, January 27, Spain has stopped applying temporary restrictions on non-essential travel due to the coronavirus pandemic to travelers residing in Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, and Uruguay.

The Official State Gazette publishes an order of the Ministry of the Interior in this sense, following the European Union‘s (EU) recommendation after reviewing these limitations.

Restrictions are also lifted for residents of China, Canada, Australia, Bahrain, Indonesia, Kuwait, New Zealand, Qatar, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates.

Criteria for deciding the third countries to which the current travel restriction should be lifted include the epidemic situation and the overall response to covid.

Restrictions are also lifted for residents of China, Canada, Australia, Bahrain, Indonesia, Kuwait, New Zealand, Qatar, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates.
