Tonight’s party will be the second of four during this season and will feature DJ Maurício Valladares spinning a set of national hits.
Additionally, more DJs will spin during the night and there will be performances, poetry, flash mobs, special gifts distributed and many more surprises.
Created by Rodrigo Penna in 2007, the Bailinho events are meant to be true pop spectacles and more than just parties.

Natiruts and The Wailers with Julian Marley(Lapa)
Natiruts and The Wailers with Julian Marley return to Fundição Progresso in Lapa to perform live for a second night. A legendary Jamaican reggae band, The Wailers were created in 1962 by Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer. One of Bob Marley’s sons, Julian Marley again will perform live with the band. Opening the show will be Natiruts , a popular Brazilian reggae band. For reggae fans, these are two nights not to be missed.

Carnival 2015 Samba School Technical Rehearsals (Santo Cristo)
Tonight two more samba schools head to the Sambódromo to hold their technical rehearsals in preparation for their 2015 Carnival parades. União do Parque de Curicica will hold their practice first at 8PM and Império Serrano will follow at 9:30 PM. Technical rehearsals are free and open to the public. While they do not include full costume and completed floats, they are still a great opportunity to preview each schools parade and to hear their samba-enredo (samba theme song) chosen for this year.

Bailinho (Centro)
Tonight the second edition of Bailinho event will take place at Píer Mauá Anexo 4. DJ Maurício Valladares will spin a set consisting of 100 percent national songs. Guest DJs will spin and additional performances will take place throughout the night.

Rockaway (Botafogo)
It’s all about rock tonight, as Botafogo’s Casa da Matriz hosts the first edition of the Rockaway party this year. The 35th edition of the event since its creation, the party has become well known for spinning the best of rock, indie rock and heavy rock. Tonight the party will pay special tribute to the Foo Fighters (who will play live later this month in Rio) and Queens of the Stone Age. DJs Polly, Grazzia, and Ivy will spin on the first floor, while Lia Novello and Sal take to the decks above on the second floor. Promotions during the night will include two for one caipirinhas, mojitos, Cuba Libres and Hi-Fi’s until 1AM.

Dance Floor (Glória)
La Passion Club in Glória will host the Dance Floor event with DJ Rodrigo Mattos and guests spinning various beats tonight. There will be an open bar until 4AM with beer, vodka, Hi-Fi, Blue Hawaii, Malibu Pine Apple, Sex on the Beach, Cuba Libre, water and soda. Additionally, Budweiser, Stella, Belvedere Vodka, and tequila will be two for one all night long.
