Russia strengthens political and commercial agreements with Bolivia
RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The Bolivian president highlighted on Twitter the healthy relations between the two countries and sent a “fraternal greeting” to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
For its part, the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation praised the meeting, “the course for the comprehensive strengthening of Russian-Bolivian multilateral ties was reaffirmed,” it added.

According to the statement published on the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs website, one of the main topics was “bilateral political dialogue and cooperation in international affairs.”
The statement underlined the respect of both nations for the UN agreements on international law, non-interference in internal affairs and respect for the sovereignty of nations.
Both parties showed interest in expanding economic and financial ties, foreseeing large investments and the expansion of joint efforts to tackle the crisis caused by Covid-19 in the different social spheres.
