Rush returns to Chile for the first time in 17 years, and strong sales led to a second night. Both shows take place at Estadio Bicentenario de La Florida in January 2027.

Rush in Santiago is set for Sunday, 17 January 2027, and Tuesday, 19 January 2027, at Estadio Bicentenario de La Florida. The Canadian rock trio returns to Chile after 17 years, according to the Chilean outlets Pauta and T13.

Ticketmaster Chile is the official seller, and prices run from about US$102 to US$356 for single seats. For US fans the trip means a long flight south, a passport and a plan for midsummer heat.

Why Rush in Santiago Matters to US Fans

Ticketmaster Chile calls this the band’s first South American visit in 17 years. Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson now tour with German drummer Anika Nilles, who replaced the late Neil Peart.

Peart died in 2020, and Pauta says the Fifty Something Tour marks five decades of the band and honours him. Keyboardist Loren Gold, who has played with Roger Daltrey of The Who, completes the touring lineup.

The tour opened in Los Angeles in June 2026, according to the metal news site Blabbermouth. The band’s own site lists North American dates through Vancouver on 17 December 2026 before the South American leg.

The Santiago shows belong to a nine-date South American run announced on the band’s site. It starts in Buenos Aires on Friday, 15 January 2027, and ends in Brasília on 4 February.

Between those dates come two nights in Santiago, then Curitiba, two nights in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte. Rush’s own announcement of 23 April 2026 lists every stop and the stadium for each one.

Rush plays two sets with a break between them, based on the opening nights in Los Angeles that Loudwire documented. The band’s site says the setlist changes each night, so no two shows are alike.

Dates and Start Times in US Eastern Time

Rush plays Santiago on Sunday, 17 January 2027, and again on Tuesday, 19 January 2027. The second date was added on 23 April 2026, after the first night sold well, according to the Chilean broadcaster 24 Horas.

Neither Ticketmaster Chile nor the promoter has published doors or show times in the pages checked. Ticketmaster mentions priority entry for VIP packages before general opening, without naming an hour.

Santiago keeps Chilean summer time, three hours behind UTC, in January. US Eastern Standard Time is five hours behind UTC then, so Santiago runs two hours ahead of New York.

As arithmetic only, a 9 pm start in Santiago would be 7 pm Eastern on both nights. No start time has been announced, so do not plan around that example.

Neither the band nor the promoter has announced a broadcast or stream of the Santiago shows. Fans in the United States should plan to attend in person or wait for official word.

Tickets and Prices

Ticketmaster Chile sells the tickets on its event page for Rush Live 2027, and the promoter is DG Medios. The page says Ticketmaster is not responsible for tickets bought outside its own system.

T13 reported final prices from CLP 99,875 (about US$102) for general floor to CLP 346,625 (about US$356) for Diamante. La Tercera says the second date carries the same prices.

Conversions use 974.77 pesos per US dollar, the open.er-api.com rate of 22 October 2026. Prices by sector between those two extremes were not published in the sources checked.

Ticketmaster also lists three VIP packages, each with a premium seat. Limelight costs CLP 2,944,500 (about US$3,021), Closer to the Heart CLP 656,962 (US$674), and Stick It Out CLP 441,385 (US$453).

The Ticketmaster page mentions priority entry before general opening for VIP packages. Packages have limited availability and item restrictions listed on the event page.

Every buyer is limited to four tickets per purchase in each sales phase. Tickets are nominative, meaning tied to a name, and anyone aged two or older needs their own ticket.

Sales for the first night began with an artist presale on Monday, 13 April 2026, and general sale on Thursday, 16 April. Sales for the second night opened to the general public on Wednesday, 29 April 2026.

Ticketmaster’s page says sales continue subject to availability. It did not show remaining stock or a sold-out label when checked on 22 October 2026.

Buying From the United States

The event page does not say whether Ticketmaster Chile accepts cards issued in the United States for this show. Create an account early and test the checkout before any sale phase that interests you.

Because tickets are nominative, buy under the name on your passport and keep the confirmation. The page does not say which identity document is checked at the gate, so carry your passport.

Prices are charged in pesos, and your bank may add a foreign transaction fee. Avoid resellers, since a name-bound ticket from a stranger may be refused at the door.

Getting to Estadio Bicentenario de La Florida

The stadium stands in the La Florida district of Santiago, away from the downtown core. Canal 13, a Chilean broadcaster, told fans at an earlier stadium concert to take Metro Line 4 to Rojas Magallanes station.

It also listed buses E10, E07 and 323, and said the stadium has no parking for private cars. No Rush transport plan has been published, so check these routes again nearer the date.

For an Arjona concert, Canal 13 said entry gates depended on the ticket section, with separate west and east sides. Look at your ticket for the gate, because the Rush gate map is not out yet.

International flights from the United States land at Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport. Allow extra time for the transfer to La Florida on a concert evening.

Metro closing hours and any extra service after the show have not been announced for Rush. Book a ride-share or regulated taxi for the return, as the State Department advises.

Safety and Entry Rules for US Visitors

The US State Department rates Chile at Level 2, “exercise increased caution,” in an advisory issued on 19 August 2026. It names crime, unrest and health as the risk indicators.

The department says petty crime is common, with pickpocketing most frequent at Cerro Santa Lucía, Mercado Central, Plaza de Armas and Bellavista. Keep phones and wallets out of sight in crowds and on the Metro.

It also warns that demonstrations can start with little or no notice and disrupt buses and the Santiago Metro. Check local news on show days and avoid any protest.

The department advises regulated taxis with orange or yellow plates, or legal ride-share apps. It warns that unauthorised taxis outside airports have led to theft.

US citizens need no visa for tourist stays of 90 days or less, according to the State Department. Your passport must be valid for the whole stay, with one blank page for each entry stamp.

On arrival you receive a Tourist Card valid for up to 90 days, which you must return on departure. Tourists must also be able to show at least US$46 a day for expenses.

Planning Your Trip

January is midsummer in Santiago, so expect hot, dry days and an evening show under open sky. Pack sunscreen and a refillable bottle, and check the stadium rules once they are published.

Stadium bag rules, banned items and any cashless system have not been published for Rush. Expect an airport-style security check and keep your belongings to a minimum.

Both shows fall in the Chilean summer holidays, when hotels in the capital can fill quickly. Hotel prices have not been verified, so book a refundable room early and compare rates.

A fan who wants more than one night can combine Santiago with Buenos Aires on Friday, 15 January 2027. Curitiba, the next stop, follows on Friday, 22 January 2027.

What It Means for You

For US fans, Rush in Santiago is a chance to see the Fifty Something Tour abroad, with two nights to choose from. Seats cost about US$102 to US$356 at face value, before flights, hotels and bank fees.

Buy only through Ticketmaster Chile and watch for the doors and show times before booking flights. Check the State Department advisory again before you fly, because ratings can change.

What Is Not Known

Doors, show times, opening acts and the stage layout have not been announced. Prices for each sector between the two published extremes, and the stock still on sale, are also unknown.

Whether Ticketmaster Chile accepts US cards for this show is not stated on the event page. No stadium rules for bags, cashless payment or an official transport plan have been published, and no broadcast has been announced.
