Rodica – Blues In My Blood @ Centro Cultural Justiça Federal (Centro) – Originally from Boston in the US, the singer Rodica is launching her new CD ‘Blues in my Blood’ at the Centro Cultural Justiça Federal tonight.
This album sees the singer expand her musical partnerships and intensify her exploration into the connection between American black music and Brazilian music.
Rodica will be accompanied by the band Blues Groovers, from Rio de Janeiro.
The release of her second CD, Blues in My Blood, refers to various branches of the blues, in their dialogue with other musical genres such as jazz, country, folk and soul.
This should be a great live performance for those who enjoy soulful music on a Tuesday night.

MÚSICA BRASILEIRA:
60 Anos de Bossa @ Beco das Garrafas (Copacabana) – Throughout the year 2018, great artists are paying tribute to the 60th birthday of the most famous Brazilian musical movement in the world: bossa nova, born in Beco das Garrafas, Copacabana.
Under the auspices of Amanda Bravo, singer, partner and artistic director of Beco, there will be about 30 monthly shows with great artists from the Brazilian scene and new talents in the spotlight.
Tonight, Flávia Dantas, accompanied by the guitar of Bernardo Dantas, will play bossa nova songs with a repertoire in honor of Nara Leão and João Gilberto, and the songs of Tom Jobim, Vinicius de Moraes, Carlos Lyra, Roberto Menescal, João Donato, Chico Buarque, Dorival Caymmi, among others will also be present in this special show.
The show starts at 9PM and tickets are from R$40.
