Jazz às Quintas @ Cazota (Lapa) – Come and enjoy some jazz every Thursday in the charming Cazota Bar, in Lapa. The band is led by expatriate British musician Tom Ashe, and they play traditional New Orleans jazz covers.
To complement the sound, the bar is very charming, with polite and helpful staff and an excellent menu. The music starts at around 8:30PM and there is an artistic cover charge of R$10.

PARTY:
The Love Boat Party @ New Mariuzinn (Copacabana) – The Love Boat Party at Copacabana’s New Mariuzinn is one of the craziest parties in Rio and will surely prepare anyone for the weekend.
The preview party starts at 10PM at the club, where there is an open bar between 11PM and midnight, as well as free mini pizzas which will be served every hour to keep everyone well-fed. The DJ tonight is Guga Fernandes, who will be spinning house, electronica, reggaeton, cumbia, carioca funk and hip hop.
Ticket prices start from R$80 for men and R$60 for women and include the transfer from the Copacabana venue to the Marina da Glória, where the boat party begins. Arriving at Marina da Glória, a boat with capacity for 120 people will be turned into a floating nightclub where anything can happen!

Samba De Lei @ Arco Do Teles (Centro) – This Thursday evening there will be a night of traditional samba with ‘Samba De Lei’ plus music courtesy of DJ Storm.
Every Thursday brings a big crowd, great samba and plenty of cold beer. This night has been bringing joy and culture to the city of Rio for over four years!

Blue Agave (Ipanema)

Flashback (Ipanema)
Flashback is a high-end restaurant with plenty of classical music and photos decorating the walls. Tonight, between 7PM and 9PM the restaurant will serve a happy hour with two for one on caipivodkas and Stella Artois. The caipivodkas are made fresh with either lime, strawberry or passionfruit as well as additional herbs added in for a taste explosion.
