Tardezinha do Teles @ Arco do Teles (Centro) – Tonight there will be a live ‘roda’ (wheel) of samba, plus retro pagode – a popular Brazilian sub-genre of samba popular in the seventies and eighties.
Amor Amigo will be performing live at the historic Arco do Teles in Rio’s city center, then DJ Storm will be pumping out the hits to keep the crowd dancing until the early hours.
This free event will begin at around 6PM.

Xarpi @ Bar do Nanam (Centro) – This Sunday, Bar do Nanam are putting on an after party for the Conexidade festival in Rio’s city center. Xarpi is all about playing the best rap and funk music from late at night until the early hours.
Featured DJs are Cavalcanti, Dirty Two, Shara, m$e, Bia Marques, and Drope. Plus, there’ll be special guests on the mic such as DG and Negra Rê, Onni and VV Clã.
This free event will begin at 11PM.

Gloriosa @ Feira Popular da Glória (Glória) – Gloriosa is the traditional samba circle that is held every third Sunday of the month at the Feira Popular da Glória. Today, the last event of the year will be held.
Gloriosa is an initiative of the carnival bloco Arteiros da Gloria, the musician Paulão 7 Cordas and the Grupo de Samba da Mesa da Diretoria dos Arteiros da Gloria. Today will be featured: Rhe Guimaraes (vocals), André Mendes (guitar), Hudson (cavaquinho), Arnaldinho (percussion), Valdir Ribeiro (percussion), Edson Poeta (percussion), Vidal (percussion), and Paulão 7 Cordas, who will direct the performance, which will feature music from Paulinho da Viola, Nelson Cavaquinho, Martinho da Vila, Zeca Pagodinho, Almir Guineto, Geraldo Pereira, and Noel Rosa, among others.
This is another free event, and it begins at 3PM.
