Biergarten 2018: The Grand Opening (Zona Portuaria – Port Area) – This Saturday marks the grand reopening of the Biergarten in Rio’s Zona Portuaria (Port Area) which was revitalized for the 2016 Olympics and has since become a cultural hub of the city.
This event promises three dancefloors, with two on the shores of the Guanabara bay, twenty different brands of high-quality beer, a wide variety of food including a Jack Daniel’s barbecue. There will also be DJs, live samba and much more.
Biergarten Rio – Av. Rodrigues Alves – Port Area
Things will get started at 3PM and the party doesn’t stop until 5AM. Free entry is only available by signing up via the event’s facebook page!
PARTY:
Barzin: Summer Vibes (Ipanema) – Saturday is world pop music day down at Barzin in Ipanema and they are going to be spreading the Carioca spirit of lively music and the good life, all while celebrating summer in the (almost) winter!
There will be DJ Haron Dufau, spinning an eclectic set with hip hop, house, reggaeton and funk, plus there will be a live music set yet to be announced.

Jorge Ben Jor (Lapa) – Tonight, MPB and Samba legend Jorge Ben Jor will be laying down his world-famous groove at Lapa’s legendary Circo Voador.
The 73-year-old composer of ‘Mas, Que Nada’ is promoting the release of his new single, ‘São Valentim’ (Saint Valentine.
DJ Marcelinho Da Lua will also be providing the support and doors open at 10PM.
