Latin America’s Largest Electronic Music Festival Returns to Rio

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Rio Music Conference, the largest electronic music event in Latin America, comes back to Rio’s Museum of Art (MAR) this week, with talks and workshops from February 15th to 17th and a festival during Carnival celebrations.

The conference’s ninth edition will arrive in Rio de Janeiro this week, after travelling through São Paulo and Curitiba. During the day on February 15th, 16th and 17th, the MAR will host more than one hundred lectures, debates, seminars, workshops, speed coaching and business rounds for those working in the industry.

The conference will cover an extensive range of topics, from marketing, sponsorship and branding experience to technical and musical production, global trends and the festival business. Tickets to attend cost R$150 until February 14th, after which point the price rises to R$180.

Rio Music Carnival, the electronic music festival linked to the conference, will take place in the Marina da Glória from Friday, February 24th until Tuesday, February 28th. Featuring high-profile Brazilian and international DJs and artists, this year’s event will see dance music legend Afrojack and funke carioca artist DJ Denis among the musicians.

Tickets for Rio Music Carnival are available online from R$99 for a one-night pass to R$187 for the full five nights. However, they can also be purchased at one of twenty-five ticket sale points, listed on the event’s Facebook page and including shops in Botafogo, Leblon and Tijuca.
