Vocalist and guitarist Pedro Holanda will start things off again tonight at Carioca da Gema at 7:30PM. Gabriel Teixeira will follow at 9:30PM. Then at 11:30PM, singer Teresa Cristina & Grupo Semente will fill the venue with the sounds of lively samba as they perform their reinterpretations of the works of Noel Rosa, Chico Buarque, Gonzaguinha, Ismael Silva and Paulinho da Viola, among others.

Maria Filó, Samba na Véia and Nó na Madeira (Centro)
At 8PM the group Nó na Madeira returns to start off the night at Rio Scenarium again with their reinterpretations of works by Noca da Portela, Toninho Gerais, Gil Ribeiro, Vicente Viola, and Tibério Gaspar, among others. Then at 11PM, the group Samba na Véia will perform the best sambas and bossa novas from the 60s and 70s as well as the best samba-rock and sambalanço. Finally at 2:30AM, Maria Filó will perform some of the best forro you can hear anywhere in the city tonight.

Tonight the Leviano bar in Lapa will present the Lapafest party. Singer Gabby Moura will start off the night with samba and pagode. Singer Mar César will follow with the best of samba, MPB, soul, and samba-reggae. On the second floor, trio Johnny’s will perform the best of international rock and pop. Additionally during the night, DJs Márlio and Aílton Areas will spin between shows.
