Brazil’s Economy: Slowing Down but Not Stopping in Q2 2025

Brazil’s economy found its brakes in the second quarter of 2025, but it is not rolling backward. Official figures from the national statistics agency show GDP grew just 0.4% from April to June compared to the previous quarter.
