Brazilian Stock Exchange ends 3rd consecutive day in drop
Ibovespa, the leading stock indicator of the Brazilian Stock Exchange (B3), recorded a drop of 0.9% to 102.312 points.
The trading session on Wednesday, 26, was the third consecutive day of losses. In the week, the stock market has accumulated a devaluation of almost 2%.
The dollar closed quoted at R$ 5.05, almost stable, with a slight drop of 0.1%.
The negative balance of the indicator was affected by the drop of more than 1% in Petrobras shares, the second largest company in Ibovespa.

With the continued fall in the price of oil in the foreign market, other smaller companies in the industry had a drop of up to 3% in the session.
The inflation forecast data presented by the IPCA-15 revealed a deceleration of the price indexes. The movement fed expectations of a drop in interest rates in the second half. They were contributing to the stock market gaining a breath during the day.
The expectation of falling interest rates in the future encouraged investors and benefited the performance of companies that depend on cheaper credit to grow. This is the case of the construction company MRV, which advanced by 6%.
In the foreign market, the North American stock markets also performed poorly. Concerns about the soundness of First Republic Bank, one of the financial institutions that went through a crisis last month, still generate respect.
The bank reported its quarterly results and revealed a sharp drop in the volume of customer deposits, which increases the risk of bankruptcy.
