The unemployment rate falls in Brazil to 8.7% in the third quarter, the lowest figure since June 2015

The unemployment figure in Brazil for the third quarter stood at 8.7%, a reduction of just 0.6 tenths compared to the second quarter of the year, which leaves the total population without work at 9.5 million people, according to data from the National Household Sampling Survey (Pnad), released this Thursday by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE).
