Santa Cruz ‘civics’ end strike in Bolivia but warn that “struggle must continue”

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - On Tuesday night, the Bolivian government enacted the law repealing the regulation against illegal profits, which triggered unrest and protests in several parts of the Andean nation.

"We have achieved this victory of the people, (but) it is only a battle, the struggle must continue," strike leader Calvo said at a press conference, while stressing that the strike has been "an instrument of struggle" and that "the resistance to totalitarianism must continue with this and other means."
