Brazil: Journalists are attacked during the dismantling of a protester camp in Belo Horizonte

Videos that circulated this Friday (6) show the moment that journalists are attacked by demonstrators.

The scenes of violence took place when municipal guards and inspectors carried out the demobilization of the camp in front of the Command of the 4th Military Region, in the western region of Belo Horizonte.

A cameraman was pushed with the camera and lost his balance. Another journalist, from the newspaper O Tempo, was attacked with a flag and surrounded by demonstrators.

The action took place on Avenida Raja Gabáglia and was coordinated by the Belo Horizonte city hall, which sent municipal guards and inspectors to dismantle the camp, which had been in place for over two months.
