Lula da Silva warns his ministers that whoever does something wrong will be removed from the Government

By · January 6, 2023 · 1 min read

The President of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, held his first meeting with the 37 ministers of his government and warned them of the consequences of committing wrong acts.

“Whoever makes a mistake knows that there is only one way, the person will simply be, in the most polite way possible, invited to leave the Government, and if he committed something serious, he will have to face the investigations and the Justice itself,” Lula da Silva said in the beginning of the meeting.

Before the warning, Lula da Silva promised to support all his ministers “in good times and in bad times” and asked them for patience to talk as much as necessary with parliamentarians, because the Government depends on a good relationship with the National Congress.
