Covid-19: Austria decides to lock down entire population and require vaccination

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Austria is the first country in Europe to resume lockdown and impose vaccination on the population. The restriction goes into effect on Monday (22).

Faced with a significant increase in Covid-19 cases, Austria imposed a lockdown on the entire population on Friday (19). Austria is the first country on the European continent to return to a national lockdown.

The restriction was announced after the Austrian government first imposed a curfew only on unvaccinated people as a world first. In the meantime, however, it has been realized in Vienna that such a measure is not justified . . .
