RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazil has registered a record number of visits to its natural destinations during 2021.
State Park Jalapão, in Tocantins State, received more than 55,000 visitors, which was the highest number recorded since 2014.
Another highly visited place in 2021 was Bonito, in Mato Grosso do Sul State. The city recorded more than 205,000 visitors and, in 2021, had its best year.
