Brazil: Moro breaks the silence and responds to Lula’s attacks

Senator Sergio Moro (União Brasil-PR) has broken his silence and responded to attacks from President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

On Tuesday morning, 21, the President revealed his intention to take revenge on the former judge and former minister.

“Three or four prosecutors would ask: ‘Is everything all right? I would answer: ‘Everything is not all right. It will only be okay when I f*** this Moro guy.’ You cut out the word ‘f***’ there,” Lula said in an interview with Brasil 247.

This afternoon, Moro rebutted the statements of the President.

“My interpretation is that the president is taking revenge on the Brazilian population, that the government has not presented the results,” he said in an interview with CNN Brasil.

“We only see a pífio growth, predicted to be 0.8% this year, due to the great fiscal lack of control.”

But it doesn’t stop there.

On Twitter, the former minister recalled Lula’s offenses against farmers, police officers, and the military.

He also recalled the attacks on the President of the Central Bank, Roberto Campos Neto, and the criticism of the Public Ministry.

“Enough of wanting revenge on the Brazilian people,” Moro protested.

In the interview with Brasil 247, Lula said he feels sorrow for Operation Lava Jato.

According to the President, the task force pressured the corruption suspects to inform their associates.
