RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Last month 129,000 vehicles were licensed, a drop of 22.8% compared to the same period in 2021. However, prices did not fall back. It is what a survey from KBB Brasil, specialized in new and used car prices, points out.

The main responsible for keeping the upward trend in prices was the used cars (from zero to three years), which registered an average variation of 2.96%, and used cars (from four to ten years), with an average increase of 1.87%. The prices of 0 km cars, on the other hand, increased by only 0.25%.

Among the 0 km vehicles, there was a 0.36% increase in the 2022 models, while the 2021 models had no significant variation. These increases are much lower than those registered in 2021 when the 2022 models varied by 1.67% and the 2021 models by 1.09% on average per month.
