Bradesco, Petrobras, Itaú Unibanco Reveal Key Financial Moves
Bradesco (BBDC4) will distribute R$4 billion ($760 million) as Interest on Equity for the first half of 2024.
Each common share will receive R$0.359141350, and preferred shares will get R$0.395055485.
Shareholders must register by June 17 to qualify. Consequently, shares will go ex-rights on June 18.
After a 15% income tax, payments will amount to R$0.305270148 for common and R$0.335797162 for preferred shares. Final payments are due by January 31, 2025.
This significant payment exceeds typical monthly interest disbursements and will contribute to the mandatory dividend totals.
Petrobras Moves to Reactivate ANSA Fertilizer Plant in Paraná
Petrobras (PETR4) has decided to reactivate its dormant Araucária Nitrogenados S.A. (ANSA) fertilizer facility in Paraná.
Since 2020, the plant has been inactive. Reactivation is planned for the second half of 2025.
Additionally, Petrobras intends to rehire former employees, awaiting the Superior Labor Court’s (TST) approval.
Itaú Unibanco Announces Upcoming Interest on Equity Payment
Itaú Unibanco (ITUB4) has disclosed an upcoming Interest on Equity payment of R$0.251 per share.
They will deduct a 15% income tax, resulting in a net value of R$0.21335 per share.
Shareholders must be registered by June 20 to be eligible. Subsequently, shares will trade ex-rights on June 21.
The payments, scheduled for August 30, will include the IoE declared on March 4, based on the shareholder records from March 21.
