Argentine presidential candidate Milei presented the team aimed at defeating the political caste

This Saturday, Congressman Javier Milei presented his national arming with more than 1,000 leaders who will accompany him in this year’s general elections.

The libertarian economist is the presidential candidate who best ranks individually at the national level and in 18 of the 24 provinces.

Still, he needs a structure in every corner of the country to support his ticket.

So, finally, Milei made a show of force in the multi-space La Podada, in the municipality of Tigre, and took a picture with the team of referents, activists, and professionals that will try to accomplish the historic feat of defeating the Argentine political caste.

The photo tells a story: in the center, Javier Milei, the face that revived liberalism and has already created the third largest force Argentina has seen in 20 years.

At his side were his two most important advisors: his sister, Karina Milei, and his favorite armorer, Carlos Kikuchi.

Immediately behind him, also in the center of the photo, Agustín Romo, who manages the communication of the space and is one of the Buenos Aires leaders most closely related to Milei, and Sebastián Etchevehere, the leader in Entre Ríos, who was in the media spotlight last year when Grabois’ picketers took over his brother’s fields in the province.

Moving on in the first row, from left to right, is the Buenos Aires legislator Oscar Zago, one of the most important armors in CABA, who has also helped Milei get referents in the interior of the country.

Then appears the national congresswoman Carolina Píparo, the most important pass that Milei achieved since the 2021 elections.

Despite having joined the party of José Luis Espert, the woman from La Plata is one of the most important figures that Milei has today in the Province of Buenos Aires.

Next to Píparo was Agustín Coto, leader of the United Republicans of Tierra del Fuego and his most crucial armorer in Patagonia.

With this political space, he could occupy a seat as Ushuaia’s Constitutional Conventional Representative in the last reform of Ushuaia’s Organic Charter.

At his side, the mayor of Campo Grande, Ariel Rivero, leader of Río Negro, will have the first challenge this April 16 since he will compete as a candidate for governor of the province.

Rivero will be the first candidate Milei will put to compete in an election this year, so that he will be an important parameter for the rest of this year’s split elections.

Next to him, another one who will have to compete with a short ballot, Ricardo Bussi, candidate for governor in Tucumán for next May 14.

The son of former governor Antonio Bussi is the main armorer in the north and it is likely that, like Rivero, he will head the ticket that will accompany the face of the economist as national deputy.

Next comes Victoria Villarruel, Milei’s block mate in the National Congress, who, in the last months, has been linked to the Democratic Party in the Province of Buenos Aires. However, her intentions for this election year are not clear.

On the other side of the photo, following in the first row, is Ramiro Marra, Buenos Aires legislator of La Libertad Avanza.

The financial youtuber wants to be a candidate for head of Government in CABA, but there is still a long way to go, and in the space, they have not decided on a name.

Next to him is the businessman from Chubut, César Treffinger, who had just made an excellent selection in the legislative elections of 2021 as a candidate for the National Senate when he consolidated third place and left the candidate of the Governor Mariano Arcioni in fourth place.

For the time being, the elections in Chubut will be held at the same time as the general elections, so it is not decided whether he will go as a candidate for governor or deputy, where he has a high chance of entering Congress.

Next to him appears the journalist from Neuquén, Carlos Eguía, who, like Rivero in Río Negro will compete for the governorship of Neuquén on April 16.

The latest numbers give him a 15% of voting intention, comfortably in third place, which would allow him to enter several candidates for provincial legislators.

Next comes Martín Menem, one of the essential members of La Libertad Avanza and very close to the economist.

The nephew of the former president was already elected provincial legislator for Milei’s party in 2021, and now he will be a candidate for governor of La Rioja.

Next comes the economist Romina Diez, the primary referent of the party in Santa Fe and probable candidate for national deputy. Diez is one of the leaders of La Libertad Avanza, closest to Javier Milei, and won the battle against Amalia Granata.

Last but not least, in the first row is Sebastián Pareja, the armorer of the Province of Buenos Aires and responsible for the most important district of the country.

He was politically formed on Carlos Menem’s side and was an official of Rogelio Frigerio in the Ministry of the Interior. He is one of the most politically experienced members of La Libertad Avanza.

Other noteworthy names that can be seen behind the first row are Nahuel Sotelo, a Buenos Aires legislator, and another responsible for the district of the Province of Buenos Aires; Alfredo Olmedo, former candidate for governor of Salta, who has wanted to do politics together with Javier Milei for years, and Nicolás Mayoraz, an important leader of the province of Santa Fe.

From the City of Buenos Aires district, it is also worth mentioning the presence of Camila Duro and Santiago Santurio, leaders of the Ciudadanos party and who lead the School of Political Conduction that prepares the leaders who will accompany Milei in the historic feat.

It is Costanza Moragues, a legislator who entered the Buenos Aires Congress for Espert’s party and today is a militant in the ranks of the Democratic Party.

She was not invited to the conclave, but someone would have let her pass anyway.
