DJ Mukambo, known for his famous Groovalicious parties in Brussels, Belgium, will spin at the Sandbox stage and DJs Andrei Y, Gabriel Mattos, André Menezes, and Caio Santiago will also spin there during the night.
On the Favela Chic stage, DJ Nickodemus will spin. He is known for the Turntables on The Hudson parties in NY and for his remixes of Bob Marley, Nina Simone, Astor Piazzolla, and Billy Holiday, among others.
Additionally, during the night, boTECOeletro live with Ricardo Imperatore and DJ Moos Juh will perform on the Favela Chic stage.

“A Nacionalidade dos Objetos” Exhibition Opening (Centro)
Tonight Largo das Artes will host the opening of the “A Nacionalidade dos Objetos” (The Nationality of the Objects) exhibition. Featuring the works of Rio de Janeiro-based artist Tamirys Araújo and Spanish artist Camila Cañeque, the exhibition will run through January 31st. For the opening night, operating hours will be 10AM-7PM on Friday and 10AM-5PM on Saturday. The public intervention segment of the program will continue through Febuary 13th.

Aviões do Forró (Barra da Tijuca)
Touring in support of their most recent release entitled, Lei da Vida (law of life), the band Aviões do Forró will perform live at Barra Music in Barra da Tijuca tonight. Singer Naldo Benny will open for the band.

Breno Alves will kick off the live music tonight at Carioca da Gema at 8:30 PM. Then, singer Toninho Geraes will follow at 10:30 PM. Geraes has composed for artists including Martinho da Vila and Zeca Pagodinho and during his show tonight, he will sing their hits, as well as his own compositions. Additionally, he will reinterpret the works of Moacyr Luz, Paulinho da Viola, and Chico Buarque, among others.

Tonight at Lapa’s Leviano bar it’s time to dance as the group Mano a Mano starts things off at 8PM with salsa and merengue on the first floor, while on the second floor the weekly Forró Leviano party will present the groups Sotaque do Nordeste and Trio Pé de Serra performing live. Additionally, DJ Angolano will spin salsa and DJ Léo Araripe will spin forró during the night.
