Monday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – The Blues Etilicos (Ethylic Blues) band is back to Botafogo tonight, bringing the best of blues and rock’n’roll music to Botto Bar from 7:30 PM.
Composed of musicians Greg Wilson, Flávio Guimarães, Otávio Rocha, Cláudio Bedran and Kadu Menezes, the Blues Etilicos will present a show with the special participation of Gabriel Grossi, one of the greatest harmonica players in Brazil.
Originally from Tijuca, in Rio’s Zona Norte, Botto Bar is one of the favorite spots for Rio’s beer lovers, offering twenty different taps of artisanal beer and a menu inspired in typical German, English and Belgium dishes.

Musician Ze Paulo Becker performs at Semente Bar tonight, bringing instrumental jazz renditions of Brazilian composers like Carlos Malta, Bebê Kramer, Samuel Oliveira and Yamandú Costa.

Jazz on Monday (Santa Teresa)

Tonight the Glow Party is back with black lights, glow sticks, DJs and samba to New Mariuzinn Copacabana. Caipirinhas will be free until 12AM and there will be live samba music and dancers. DJs Guga Fernandes and DLuccio will spin the best of house, cumbia, trap, reggaeton, funk, pop, and hip hop throughout the night. Additionally, there will be promotions on beers and caipirinhas all night and tequila shots will be distributed randomly.

Winehouse is a wine bar run by a British expat that has brought an eclectic range of wines to Rio including a mix of fabulous national wines and international favorites. There is also a great selection of nibbles and cheese boards. For those that aren’t too keen on wine, there is plenty of beer and cocktail options too. Happy hour begins at 6PM and finishes at 8PM.
