The Civil Police of São Paulo has registered seven occurrence reports involving teenagers’ plans to attack the school environment.
According to the Secretariat of Public Safety (SSP), the cases happened between Monday (27) and yesterday.
The suspicion, according to the police, is that the wide dissemination of images of the attack that took place at the Vila Sônia school in São Paulo, when a 13-year-old killed a teacher and injured five people, is motivating other actions by young people.

The occurrences registered are from the area of the Macro São Paulo Judiciary Police Department (Demacro).
They are related to the crime of threat and seizure of objects, such as knives and firearm replicas.
CASES REGISTERED IN THE STATE
In São Paulo, an adolescent in the 9th grade of elementary school was armed at school.
The occurrence reached the police through the “Disque Denúncia” (complaint hotline).
In Itapecerica da Serra, a mother reported that her son was threatened by another student in a school.
The teenager had made promises of an attack similar to the one in Vila Sônia.
In another occurrence, police officers were informed that a student was near the school with a gun.
During the approach, the officers found a firearm simulacrum.
In Santo André, in the ABC Paulista region, a student threatened to stab a teacher during class, using the Vila Sônia school case as an example.
He even said he would do the same thing the next day.
Also in Santo André, a school coordinator did not allow a student to enter because other students claimed he was armed.
Days before, the young man had fought with another student and had made death threats.
The Military Police found a firearm simulacrum on him. In the same city, in another school, an 11-year-old child went to school carrying a toy gun.
In São Bernardo do Campo, the Military Police was informed by the vice-principal that a student was carrying a small dagger in the classroom.
The student told the police that he took the object just to show his classmates, without threatening anyone, but he reported that he had been suffering from bullying and had bought the dagger to feel safer.
REACTION FROM THE GOVERNMENT
Given the cases of threats frustrated by the police, the SSP reinforced the request to cease sharing and publishing images of the attack in the Vila Sônia school.
“The contagion effect is a reality and is demonstrating in practice what happens when a case is disseminated exhaustively in this way,” said Secretary Guilherme Derrite.
“We are working to identify and curb possible cases because this is the state’s role. However, I ask that everyone review their responsibility as a society,” highlighted the secretary.
