Man Killed by Gunfire at Recreio dos Bandeirantes in Rio

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Saturday night, September 14th, a man was shot dead at Recreio dos Bandeirantes in the west zone of Rio de Janeiro. The crime happened on Avenida das Américas.

According to information from the State Police, police officers of the 31st BPM were called in and found the man fatally wounded by gunfire inside a car.

A team from the Fire Department arrived at the scene, but they found the victim already dead.

The forensics team was called, and the case was registered at the Capital Homicide Police Station.
