Friday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Ze Ramalho takes the stage along with Rio favorite Baia at Fundicao Progresso. The musical variation of the night should take you on a journey with forró, mpb, pop and rock. These two musicians are known and loved in Brazil, this show should be one to remember.

Nouvelle Vague (Lapa)
The French band Nouvelle Vague, is known by the Brazilian public for their intimate versions of classic punk-rock, post-rock and new wave. The show will be unique and special in the format of the musical “Dawn of Innocence,” directed by stylist and designer Franco-Moroccan Jean-Charles de Castelbajac.

Ze Ramalho & Baia (Lapa)
Fundicao Progresso welcomes well known composer and singer Ze Ramalho to the stage, playing his brand of rock, pop, mpb, forró and folk. With a variety as such, the night only gets better as local legend and 20 year career holder Baia joins Ze for an unforgettable night of pure Brazilian music.

Bootie Rio with DJs from Mars (Copacabana)
The Italians DJs from Mars are back for the second time in Rio with their bootie puzzle box and their accelerated electrohouse. With mashups and remixes of Fragma, Ciara, Eiffel 65, Brooklyn Bounce, Coolio and Ennio Morricone, their sets are reminiscent of the likes of David Guetta, Carl Cox and Bob Sinclar.
